Myrna picked us up at 9am to go to the market. The weekly farmers market featured all sorts of foods and pastries. Myrna and David grabbed a cinnamon bun. I went for the pumpkin muffin. We sat and had some coffee. After coffee and pastries, David went for an apple streusel. We planned how we would walk around the market.

The fresh fruits were loaded lovely. We bought some local grapefruit and some blackberries. They had rambutans.

Our favorite stand was beach trash. This couple collects trash from beaches and turns it into art. We liked several pieces.

Myrna then took us for a tour. She took us out the A1A and showed us the tennis club where she used to stay, the Disney Hotel and the beach. Then she took us back to the marina. We had a great visit!

We finished some chores and took a walk back to the beach. The water was clear green and warm enough for a swim. We walked on the beach a bit and then back through town.

Near the park where the market had been, they were setting up for a free concert. We planned to return. We walked back to get some warmer clothes for the evening.
We took the bus back to the beach. After the marina, it goes to the beach and then back to the main part of town. The marina is on bus route one. It is free. It runs from 7am to 7 pm. The bus driver was very nice and told us what stop to exit.
The concert was put on by the chamber of commerce. It was part of the free quarterly series Sunset Saturdays. They had the street blocked and a stage. People brought chairs. The band was Dave Scott with the Reckless Shots. They played some classic rock, some blues and a few originals. They were fun. One of their groupies had a bubble machine that blew bubbles onto the dance floor. Another brought 10 hula hoops and let people use them. I wanted to try but was too nervous. I need to practice first. Several of the women there were doing very well.
The concert ended at 8 and we went to El Sid to grab a street taco on our walk home. Fun evening.
