We were planning to leave but reconsidered due to thunderstorms to the south and high winds predicted during the night. We did a thorough cleaning of the boat and some organizing.
We put up some decorations. The parade would be coming right by us.
We then took a walk to the beach for a swim. The fuel dock was getting a bit crowded when we got back. We had a great seat for the parade.
As it got dark, we saw some lights at the bridge and then the boats started coming. Most had many lights, trees, Santas of various sorts and Christmas music. We cheered with the people on the dock.
The winning large boat was a sailboat with dancers with lighted shawls that looked like wings. It was beautiful.
The winning medium boat had a dancing santa on the front.
