Rain was predicted all day. Grace and family graciously offered to come get us for a cozy house day but we had a lot to do on the boat and did not want them to have to drive us again. We headed to the dinghy dock in the morning to try to get a walk in before the rain. We walked around the Lincolnville and old town neighborhoods and south along the waterfront.
Highlights of the walk were a palm tree growing through an oak tree,

and a little gnome garden along the edge of someone’s property. It was decorated for Christmas.

The homes were quiet and pretty with tropical plants.
We returned to the dinghy dock and met our friends Finn and Alanna from Eleanor. They were returning from the playground while Brendan was busy with boatwork. They have to replace the housing for their anchor light and are waiting for a part. Finn looked like he was going to drive the dinghy back to the boat.

David rowed back against the current and we placed Fat Tuesday back on deck. We went below as the rains came and later some wind. Deb and Jeff are headed to Miami offshore. We got a text that they were not happy with waves and wind in their face as the front pressed down on them. We are hoping they will escape the weather as they get further south.
We did some planning, caught up with the boys and read for a bit. We plan to head out early for Ponce Inlet.
