We were going to anchor by the US Yorktown and wait for check in at our slip but we called the marina and they said to come on over.
We docked on the inside of the old mega dock. The current was incoming so we went down the fairway, turned and approached the dock for a port side tie. We had plenty of room and docked easily.

We cooked breakfast, cleaned up the cockpit and slept awhile. We got up, showered and got to work with some boat business. We had realized when we got here that one of the plug ins for our new solar panels had been knocked off by the boom. Unfortunately, the wires from the panel to the connector broke off. they cannot be replaced so we will have to order a new panel. Very bad mistake.

We think maybe the boom preventer line caught on the connector at one point. It could have been that the topping lift was lower, but more likely it was the preventer line. We have changed that to run along the side of the boom instead of on the bottom.
We later walked to town and went for pizza at Fannie and the Fox, a great new place and a favorite of Jeff and Deb. Carmella’s gelato for dessert.
