We were up a lot checking things on the opposing wind, current cycle. Winds were very strong, due to clock through the west and then northwest pretty much all day before becoming north. We were expecting a thunderstorm so we waited to brave a beach trip. It turned out to be a 1 minute rain shower and after it passed, it was too rough for a dinghy ride. We spent the day on the boat.
We had plenty to do. I worked on basket weaving. Tanya taught me the basics at Chat N Chill and I started a basket. It is a little rough, being my first, but I am learning. Right now it looks like a coaster. David attached the spare anchor to the bow roller. We took turns jumping off the boat and swimming in the waves and current with a rope we could hold on to. We read some and we worked on our song, Oh Susanna, with David on guitar and me with the harmonica.

The wind was due to subside by midnight. We planned our exploration of the island for tomorrow. Hike in the morning and then snorkeling on Tiny Galliot at slack tide. Also planned were dinghy explorations of the cove and Little Galliot.
Since there are not many pictures of the day, I am adding in our galley tour that we filmed when John was here.
