In the morning, we started making some calls to try to find some exhaust hose. We had heard boaters trying to get rid of various hoses on the net so we tried that first. Then we called a local place but they just order outboard parts. Other boaters had spoken about ordering things from Lightbourne Marine in Nassau. We called them and DK was very helpful. He had 12 feet of the 2 inch hose in stock and could send it on the next mailboat.
He sent us a form to complete and we emailed information, probably too much information, back. He would call when it was put on the mailboat. We would go to pick it up at the government dock when the mailboat comes in. They will hold packages for a day.
Later in the morning, Jeff came over with his rubber tape and David dressed the wound some more. We kept an eye on the big boat races while they discussed plans for supporting and protecting the new hose.

There were 3-4 boats in each class for a race up and down the harbour. We could see the finish line across the harbour. Some spinnakers were flown and Jeff impressed us by knowing every boat model in the race and how well they would perform in various winds. We watched a Hylas start very far back and catch some of the other boats in its class and a Chris White Cat, point better than any other catamaran.
After the race, we went to town to run errands and look for zip ties to help support our hose. They did not have any long enough at the hardware store. We did find some ground beef at the grocery though and brought some back for Jeff and Deb. David then worked on the temporary hose fix. Tape will be replaced once proper supplies arrive.

Later, I paddled and David rowed to shore and we met Jeff and Deb for some early wings at Baymahni.
