The storm came through after midnight but it was not as rocky as the last one. It might have been because we were in a more sheltered place but also the winds were not as strong, gusting only in the 30’s.
The winds dropped a bit in the morning. We decided to go to Brown’s marine after lunch just to check it out since it is in our neighborhood. We met Allison who will be renting us a motor boat at the end of February.
As we headed back to the boat the winds were picking up again. I did some boat polishing, then we played some music. We got to the beach right before sunset. Someone had spent a lot of time on this beach art project.

We also checked out the rock world at low tide: chitons, snails and urchins.

We had boat pizza for dinner. It was quite good and the oven was nice in the cooler weather.
