We are expecting a cold front today and after no wind during the night, the wind started to pick up from the east. It was partly cloudy. It was possible with the wind direction to go to the beach and walk, but we wanted to stay close to the boat.
We headed to the beach and walked south. We met some Canadian boaters out with their dogs. Lola and Sherman are dog friends from last year. Sherman was a gentle giant who drooled sand and posed nicely for a portrait.

We found some live sand dollars in the shallows and some rays. I took a long swim looking for starfish but could not see any. My paddle board is deflated for the strong winds.

When we got back, I had an email response from the Fin Delta sailmaker. He is posting the sail specs for free on a website. Here is his email. So nice of him to respond. I really did not expect that.
Hi Cathy,
We’re retired. But you can still get the specs for a FinDelta sail.
We offer the plans free on a new website we are building, temporarily https://jessgregory.wixsite.com/banner-bay-marine.
You can make one yourself, or share the plans with your sailmaker.
Note that the plans for the #3 sail contains a few extra notations that apply to all the sails.
So if you’re doing a #1 or #2 you might look at that too.
If you make a sail we’d enjoy receiving a photo and we’ll show it on the new site. Also any tips you have on making it. We’ll share those too.
Save for the future: Plans will be offered at a different web address eventually.
When the build-site is completed, we’ll revert to our original address where the plans will be offered – bannerbaymarine.com.
Sorry about the Hatch Hoodie, but we stopped making them too. They were a successful product, but we could not manage a low enough price to make them popular.
Fair winds,
Jess Gregory
Stormy skies in the afternoon but no rain so far.
