We decided to go for the chicken deal again. The price is right and it makes at least two meals. The instructions were, get tickets at 12 and pick up chicken at 3. We were going to dinghy down for tickets and hang out until 3 with maybe a walk and some volleyball but our friend Alice offered to get tickets for us. That allowed us to make a quick water run while the going was still good. We are a little behind on our tank top off since the trip to Moriah Harbour moorings in Redshanks.
We made the crossing without issue, got water and checked the grocery for a few items for Jeff and Deb. The cupboards were pretty bare. Everyone is missing eggs. Milk and ground beef are also long gone. Skim milk was not an issue so I got some of that. As we left to cross, the supply boat was coming into the harbour but there will not likely be a crossing opportunity for us in the next few days. We have plenty of food, including some eggs, which we offered to Jeff and Deb but they will wait.
The winds were not as bad as predicted and we had no problem going along the beach to Chat N Chill. We played volleyball until Alice got there. She told us that she had purchased the last 3 tickets at 12:20. That is 150 chicken dinners sold in 20 minutes. They had sold out again.
We had an early dinner with Alice, brought leftovers back to the boat and headed to our beach for a walk. We walked south toward the Moriah Park Pavilion. On the way back, we saw a fish hanging out right next to the shore amongst the rocks there. Finally David could not resist and tried to catch him. Luckily, he was faster.

We also saw conch, doing what conch do. I took a video but there was not that much action, unless you are a conch. Beautiful though.

We walked back as the sky looked a bit more menacing. The wind had dropped and it was calm, which was not expected. My paddle board is still deflated for the storm.

At 7 pm, there was a boat bingo game on channel 74. David of Josie got Bingo on the X game! He won a hat! Pictures to follow when we pick it up. I tried to win a basil plant but maybe next time. It was quite fun. The moderator, Joanne, makes it really enjoyable.
