The first real rain of our trip this morning. Stayed dry. Then the wind picked up. We were grateful to be on the inside dock as boats on the outer dock were banging against their bumpers or in some cases, the dock or pedestal. We tried to help boats and boat owners who were struggling to secure things. David rescued a portable gas tank that fell into the water. Fishes reported safe holding out in the harbor.
The skies gradually cleared and it looked like a different day but the wind did not calm as expected. We felt ok to take a walk to town. Walked the shops and bought some ice cream (of course) and some apples at the tienda. Everyone so nice in the town. Lots of antique stores with treasure surely for those who know what they are looking for. Passed three kings who are on their way, and photographed an interesting plant that we have seen on live oaks.

We returned to the boat to check on things. David readjusted the motor boat that was hitting the pedestal .
Nautilus texted a Restaurant recommendation , Wicked Bao, a mix of Asian foods.

The place was a little off the beaten path but was packed on a windy cold Wednesday night. The food was delicious and the owner, Natalie, so kind, talking to all of the customers. She was so proud of her restaurant and her town and wanted everyone to have a good time there. She told us about some places with live music and we sat in an alley bar and listened to a woman with a beautiful voice play the guitar and sing.
