A quick tour of the marina was captured after a calm night with winds picking up in the daytime. We are feeling a bit out of place here. There is one other sailboat here.
Around 930 am, we checked the status of our part delivery and found that it was declined for delivery at the old marina. We called them and they said that since we were no longer at the marina, they had declined the package. This differed from what our experience had been previously when we picked up several packages there after we had departed and saw mail there that had been there since October. Maybe a new 2025 policy. We suggested to them that a phone call or text would have been nice.
We tried to re-route the package and found out only the shipper can re-route a package after a delivery has been declined. We had ordered from one place and they had called a closer place and had them ship it so we finally found out that it had been shipped from Mastry engine center and George there was very helpful and changed our delivery location to a ups store near here that we can walk to. We are hoping it will arrive tomorrow. We saw some trucks and wondered.

We went to West Palm to pick up a Bahamas guide from Carolyn from the Boat Galley. It is a quick guide that lists anchorages for each island and rates them and also gives their protection from different wind directions. It is easy to use.
On our way back we stopped at the manatee lagoon to try and spot some manatees. The lagoon is next to the Florida Power and Light plant and they sponsor the lagoon. Apparently there is some warm water that enters the water from the plant and the manatees congregate there for a hot tub. Manatees, though they look blubbery, have trouble staying warm.
Yesterday 51 manatees were spotted at the lagoon. It was very hard to capture a manatee without underwater viewing. There is a webcam inside. They can hold their breath for about 5 minutes and then they mostly just stick the nostrils on their snout above the surface to get a breath. We also saw a shark and a sea turtle.

We then made our way back to the boat area. David stopped to do his regular blood donation at the blood mobile. We then went to our favorite Stormhouse brewery for a shared salad and visited the nearby Ice Cream Club for a late treat and a pint of “eyes wide open”, their coffee flavor. We have just enough room in our freezer for a pint.
