The wind in the morning was from just slightly north of east. The first thing we had to do was to go through Gallior Cut. The tide was going out with us. It was against the wind but there was not much wind so the waves were not too bad.

After that it was a close reach but we could sail! The wind shifted more northeast as the day progressed which helped our sail angle. Early on, we put up all three sails. By lunchtime we had to take the staysail down and reef the main.

We took the genoa down before entering Conch cut but left the main as we went in. We were able to take it down in the harbour. We then motored down the harbour passing familiar places along the way. There was a parade of boats behind us.

It seemed like there were so many boats! Many were anchored off Monument beach. We passed the entry to Kevali and then Chat N Chill and finally arrived at Sandollar Beach. We ended up picking mooring ball 26. It has a nice view of the beach but is far out from the shallow water.

Jeff and Deb welcomed us and we decided to meet at The Snappy Turtle for burgers to celebrate being together again in George Town.
