They arrived around midnight and we walked out to the dock to meet them. Becca and Michael were here for a sail. We showed them to the boat and got them set up to sleep in the berth over the dining table.
In the morning there was work for the remote workers and boat work for cruisers. We had two new problems to address. We seemed to have a water leak somewhere, at least our water pump was running a bit even when we were not running the water. It would lose pressure and then pressurize about once an hour. We assumed the need to pressurize was due to a small leak somewhere.

The other issue was with our toilet valve. The contents of our toilet can go two ways, to the holding tank or out to the water. In a harbor, it is illegal to dump outside , but three miles offshore it is legal. When we came in from our passage and tried to turn the valve, it would not budge.
The marina has a shuttle to West Marine so David and I set out in search of a toilet valve while Michael and Becca worked.
We met for lunch at the marina restaurant and then set about our boat work. The toilet valve replacement went well. It was easy to turn and we would now be able to have it in the right position and be legal.
We looked a few places for the water leak but when Michael and Becca finished work, it was time to walk to town for dinner. Becca and I had a little time first to walk down the docks and look at boats. There was a mega yacht on the outer dock. We later learned it belonged to one of the Whatsapp creators. The rather large steel workboat behind it was the support boat. They had some nice kite like osprey above their boat that we admired. They were good at keeping the birds off the boat.

We went to dinner at the Blind Tiger and finished off the evening with a medley of desserts at Carmella’s. The lemon ricotta cookie won first prize. It was good we had a long walk back to the boat.
