Started the day with some boat projects. We put our Bimini up for more cockpit shade. We called Jamal on Go 4 about refueling. He has a tank on his boat and can pump diesel to your boat. We needed about 20 gallons. He was very nice and can also bring water if needed. He wanted me to send him my pictures and to get one with the flag in view.

We then rigged Fat Tuesday for sailing and sailed around the harbor. We ended our sail at Chat ‘N’ Chill beach for volleyball and a jam session. Musicians had gathered some benches in a circle they went around the circle choosing tunes. There were about 5 guitarists. A woman brought a drum and someone else a tambourine. There were several harmonicas too. They played a variety of songs. My favorites were the folk songs, specifically “Song for the Mira” and “The Mary Ellen Carter.” There was another old favorite “Yellow Bird” which made me think of childhood tropical vacations. The music was lovely on the breeze and in the shade of the Casaurina trees. David was inspired to learn some.
The rays were listening at the edge of the beach and people were petting them. I did not pet them but enjoyed bonding with them.
My favorite toys were on the beach today. The one with the black sail is fully inflatable.

We headed back to the boat in time to go to Nautilus for sunset and dinner. On the way, we met up with Suzanne and Fred and saw their Island Packet, Validated. We watched the sunset and blew the conch. It took me a few tries but I finally got it. It was fried rice night on Nautilus, delicious.

We once again found our boat after dark. Calm night.
