It was a day devoted to boat chores. So far at this marina, David has replaced our alternator and changed the oil. The alternator was not completely broken but it was putting out less energy for charging. We have fuel topped off, water topped off, propane topped off and we are pumped out.

I have been having fun with the Tesla, running to the hardware store for a nut that went missing on the alternator change, to West Marine for enough oil for two more changes (if needed), and to the grocery for provisioning. Other than the nut that went missing, there was only a minor oil spill in our cockpit which messed up one of our portable cushions but was otherwise cleaned up.

The Tesla is fun. I think in the future, we will just drive with a screen if we drive ourselves at all. Here is a very short clip half of our screen. The pedestrian is cool. The other half of the screen is navigation. It knows when the light turns green and gives a gentle ding. When it rains, it adjusts the wipers.
It was raining as we prepared dinner on the boat but cleared for a later night walk. We walked the lighted streets. The park was closing down. We opted for bad karyoke and sports at a place called Duffys.
Tomorrow we are moving to a new local anchorage. We will wait until Monday to call some diesel parts places regarding our starter switch. Hoping to catch an hour of the farmers market tomorrow.
