Strong winds with line creak, dock creak and boat shudders last night. Rain. David up to check lines and
bumpers in the night. Boat sort of heeling to starboard with the wind.
Late breakfast and then shower, laundry and walk. Then met the Werner’s for lunch and boat talk.
Jeff and Deb so helpful! We talked routes and also Bahamas spots. Did not have phone or notebook
with me so I am going to capture everything while it is fresh in my mind.
About click to clear. Can enter data and then populate date 2-3 days before we cross. They email you
to pay, you pay and then captain goes ashore to check in.
Crossings. They usually leave from Miami to cross. They have been going to Chubb island in the Berry Islands
but now that island is private. Planning to still cross at Miami but unsure of entry port. Could be Bimini
or West Bay. Spent the evening looking at Bahamas chart.
